“I feel extremely grateful that I have participated in the health coaching program here at Farm Mutual Re over the past year. Attending the various fitness classes has allowed me to challenge my body in different ways and let out stress, all while having fun. In addition, I have truly grown in my health and wellness journey by participating in the one-on-one health coaching sessions with my coach. I've always made fitness a priority but before the health coaching sessions, I had a fairly narrow view of what being "healthy" meant. Through these coaching sessions, I have learned how to have a better relationship with exercise and how to tap into other areas of wellness, such as improving my diet and my commitment to self-care. In doing so, I'm improving in so many aspects of my life. Thank you to my coach, our awesome instructors, and everyone on the Wellness team!”

“I wanted to give you a big thank you regarding our recent 30 day event. Obviously, recovering from my stroke the past couple years has been interesting. For me, I was told from day 1 that it will be a marathon, not a sprint!

When I finally recovered to the point of being able to exercise and start the next phase, all the health clubs and gyms closed. I ordered an expensive spin cycle which took over 6 months to arrive. Your fitness challenge was a God send. I was stuck in a rut and couldn’t get into an exercise routine. A key measure of heart condition is resting heart rate. Mine has been elevated since my stroke which I’m told is expected. Lots of blood flow needed for brain recovery, etc.

Side note - the number one cause of death for recovering stroke patients is a heart attack, usually within 3 years. I’m now 2 years into recovery and I’m getting better each day. Your challenge definitely pulled me up from the rut and back on the path! My resting heart rate has been around the mid 50’s to mid 60’s bpm for the past couple years.

Today, after 30 days of Count it, my resting heart rate is now 45-49 bpm! This is awesome for my age. When I was running competitively in college, my resting heart rate was typically mid 30’s.

Just wanted to let you know how thankful I am and I know our entire GCP Family is healthier from your efforts!”

“You guys really made dealing with a lot of the weird part of 2020 a lot easier. I got so much out of the daily classes on line. I don’t know how you keep up the enthusiasm with the limited interpersonal feedback on line, but however you do it, it works. And the instruction is so technically helpful, even a slow learner like me can get through the classes with minimal risk and maximum gain! Among my team at OMIA I always believe that one of the biggest compliments we can receive is when people tell us we are “professionals’. You guys are real pros!“
